Arnold Schwarzenegger and his family recently went on a skiing trip. His eldest daughter, Kathrine Schwarzenegger, shared the scoop on Instagram.
Katherine Schwarzenegger, who often shares parts of her family life, posted a series of photos on March 16 on her Instagram, revealing highlights from the vacation.
The photo dump revealed that almost the entire family, including his ex-wife Maria Shriver, also joined them on the trip. Kathirne included cluded a selfie of her husband, Chris Pratt, and another with her three siblings.
Arnold Schwarzenegger's love for alpine skiing is nothing new. He is even friends with Olympic gold medalist and skiing legend Lindsey Vonn.
In 2024, the Hollywood action cinema icon joined the family, including his granddaughters, on a similar ski trip. "We returned, we skied, played with old toys and had a blast. Feeling beyond grateful for family and making memories," Kathrine Schwarzenegger wrote on March 11, 2024.
And in January this year, Arnie's eldest son, Patrick Schwarzenegger, revealed another insight into his father's vacation preference.
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Favorite Family Vacation Destination
The Midnight Sun actor recently discussed his childhood travel memories with his family, specifically his father, adding depth to the Schwarzenegger family’s recent ski vacation.
On January 21, he gave an interview to Travel + Leisure, in which he revealed that his family vacations were mostly influenced by his father's work, with travel between the US and Europe.
He said, “Then when he became governor [of California from 2003 to 2011], we would travel to Sacramento to visit him and do whitewater rafting trips and visit parts of the desert”.
He added, “My dad liked to stay within California. He felt that it had everything to offer, from beaches to skiing to mountains to desert”.
The actor also had the chance to travel through the Special Olympics, founded by his grandmother, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, in 1968.
So, despite a busy schedule, the bodybuilding legend continues to value family life.
