Besides a massive chest and bulging biceps, Arnold Schwarzenegger also stood impressively tall, but former Arnold Classic champion, Wesley Vissers, recently detailed how he uses high heels to make himself appear taller.

On February 27, Vissers appeared on a Muscle and Fitness YouTube video with Dennis James, Milos Sarcev, and Jose Raymond where they discussed his preparation for the Arnold Classic 2026. During the conversation, Sarcev posed an intriguing question, “Your height and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s height, are you guys like you know right there, or you're taller?”

Wesley answered that he was actually taller than ‘The Austrian Oak,’ saying, "I'm 6'3", and I think he was 6'2", 6'1." He also highlighted another observation. "Of course, he shrank a little bit in his old age, but when I'm on stage not wearing anything and he's wearing quite high-heeled shoes, he's still not as tall as me,” He quipped.

Well, regardless of Vissers' remarks, Schwarzenegger’s height has always been a topic of discussion. At the Australian GP back in 2015, Lewis Hamilton met Arnold, and the racer admitted that he thought Arnold was a bit taller, “I thought you were taller," to which Arnie quipped, "I haven't got my high heels on."

For context, Lewis Hamilton stands at 5’9”, and Arnold appeared nearly the same height, if not slightly taller. In another instance, Bob Mulholland, a political activist and former advisor to the California Democratic Party, also claimed Schwarzenegger was 5ft 10in and wore “risers” in his boots.

However, the controversy regarding two inches of his height doesn't even matter, considering how much he has contributed to encourage the masses to be fitter and live healthier.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Suggested Simple Yet Effective Diet to Live Healthy

Schwarzenegger runs an online fitness-encouraging platform named Arnold's Pump Club, through which he advocates for various healthy practices for bodybuilding and regular wellness.

In one of his newsletters, the 7x Mr. Olympia highlighted findings from a large-scale study showing that high fiber intake was linked to lower heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and colorectal cancer. He stated, “In other words, in an industry filled with too much hype, fiber might be one of the highest-leverage dietary habits identified in nutritional science.”

Researchers examined 185 studies and 58 trials spanning nearly 135 million person-years, making it one of the most robust analyses in nutrition science.

Studies link higher fiber intake to lower weight, blood pressure, and cholesterol, with 25 to 30 grams daily recommended. “Health improvements kick into high gear when you reach 30 grams per day, with the potential for even greater benefits beyond that. At a minimum, you want about 25 grams per day.”

So, after learning about Schwarzenegger's contribution towards encouraging a healthier lifestyle, does it matter to you whether he is 5'10" or 6'2"?
