Beyond the dazzle of bodybuilding and Hollywood, Arnold Schwarzenegger shows his softer side as he shares heartfelt moments with his granddaughters.

Arnold's daughter, Katherine, took to Instagram recently to share some 'Sweetest moments' from her life. The post was a montage of heartwarming photos of her family and her life, along with a throwback picture of her parents.

But the photo that melted everyone's hearts was the one with the Terminator, who was seen spending some quality time with his two granddaughters, Lyla (5) and Eloise (3). Watching a Hollywood icon, usually seen fighting predators and futuristic villains, draw hearts with his granddaughters is a rare sight.

The bodybuilding icon has three grandchildren from Kathrine, whom she shares with her husband, actor Chris Pratt. Schwarzenegger has always been vocal about how much he loves being a grandparent and how different it is from being a parent.

On Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he told Jimmy Kimmel, "I'll tell you one thing: it is the easiest thing to be a grandfather. Because they come over to the house, you play with Lyla for around an hour or two, I put her on the horse, I put her with the dog, I play with the dog, and after two hours, they leave. Over. It's fantastic, I tell you," 

He even went on to say that he tried to help his daughter with diapers, too, but couldn't because she is too particular about doing it a certain way.

Arnold Schwarzenegger loves to draw

Besides acting and bodybuilding, it seems like Arnold Schwarzenegger has developed a new interest: drawing. And it looks like he loves to do it with his granddaughters.

The proof lies with Katherine Schwarzenegger, who often shares glimpses from her daily life on Instagram. Sometimes in those photos, fans get a sneak peek at a different side of Arnie.

Last year on Father's Day, Katherine wished her dad and her husband by sharing pictures of the two actors with her kids, with the caption:

"Happy Father’s Day to these two amazing dads! I love you both!"

One of those photos showed 'Opa' Schwarzenegger, completely focused, drawing alongside his granddaughters. The slide show also included pictures of her siblings with their dad, one of baby Katherine in Arnold's arms, and Pratt with their kids.
