Arnold Schwarzenegger has dominated bodybuilding and Hollywood for decades, but he was recently appreciated for his son for a hairstyle that he sported almost half-a-century ago.

On 17 February, Arnold's Pump Club shared an Instagram post featuring a section of 'The Austrian Oak's' appearance on the November 13, 1979, episode of the Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Schwarzenegger looked incredibly masculine, dressed in a navy blue coat, a striped shirt and a navy blue tie.

However, what stood out the most was his bro flow-styled shoulder-length hair. Among the many fans who were instantly mesmerized by his hair was his son Patrick Schwarzenegger. He mentioned “That Fabio Flow!” Echoing the same sentiment, Arnold Pump Club replied to Patrick, “We miss it”.

Not only praised by his son, but it also seems the legend himself loved his retro look. And that instance was seen a few days back, when the pump club posted its monthly newsletter featuring the same theme and added the same clip of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

In that newsletter, Arnold admitted, “Watch this clip of me on Johnny Carson more than 40 years ago, when I had much more beautiful hair, trying to convince women to pick up weights”.

While the nostalgia gains momentum, another pleasing memory from Arnold's family has also come to attention.

During his interview with Travel + Leisure on January 21, 2026, Patrick Schwarzenegger discussed the trips his parents used to take him and his siblings.

Patrick said his family often traveled between Europe and the US based on where his father was working.

He continued, “Then when he became governor [of California from 2003 to 2011], we would travel to Sacramento to visit him and do whitewater rafting trips and visit parts of the desert”.

Then he revealed Arnold's favorite place to stay by saying, “My dad liked to stay within California. He felt that it had everything to offer, from beaches to skiing to mountains to desert”.
