With the dream of opening a new gym in Hefei, and wanting to have a “new starting point, a new world…. Right before my eyes”, Wang Kun left the world. The sudden death of the 30-year-old Chinese bodybuilder has put everyone in shock.

According to Jam Press, Anhui Provincial Bodybuilding Association said that Kun passed away from “what seems to be due to a heart problem”.

Kun earned his IFBB Pro title in November 2022, and after that, his popularity reached a new level. He used to inspire his fans on social media platforms like Instagram with his workout videos and competition reels.

In an interview, Kum admitted that he had lived a "monk’s life" for almost 10 years and had developed his physique. And that dedication was clearly visible in his appearances.

He also earned eight titles in the CBBA championships. He was also running his business in China. His training institute, Muscle Factory, was a locally acclaimed facility. He was so dedicated that, during Chinese New Year, Kun preferred to train rather than celebrate.

Now, thousands of fans aspiring to be bodybuilders have shown their condolences online, specifically on the post by “whoisthebestbb” on Instagram.

Fans' reaction after the news of Wang Kun

When the news came, one fan shared a simple yet powerful message, full of grief and respect, “Rest in peace.” Fans are saddened by the loss of the IFBB pro holder at just 30.

Another fan again showed his fear of losing his favorite bodybuilders. He commented, “When is it going to stop?!?!” This is one of the most challenging years for bodyduing fans as they have gone through many tragic stories like this.

As the bodybuilding community loses its loved ones, concerns regarding the players' health are also rising. Comment down your thoughts on this.
