Claire Kittle reveals the workout routine behind her runway prep
Claire Kittle hit the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit runway for the first time in May 2026, creating a major buzz among fans. However, the 32-year-old had to delve into a well-defined workout regimen to achieve the physique that she flaunted on the runway.
Claire, the wife of the San Francisco 49ers tight end, George Kittle, was a Division I basketball player herself, and hence, has a knack for staying fit. Still, she had to adopt a five-to-six-day-a-week workout routine to look her best on the ramp.
A report from Sports Illustrated Swimsuit on June 22, 2026 revealed that there are two categories of workouts that Kittle delves into: reformer pilates and strength training.
“I love mixing the two because no two days are the same, and both approaches really challenge me,” said Kittle.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit report mentioned that the NFL star's wife alternated between these two workouts for five to six days a week to achieve her toned physique.

Kittle made her brand debut first, posing as the digital cover model for SI Swimsuits' February 2026 edition. She also shared a snap of the cover on her Instagram, where she looked stunning in a red two-piece.
Kittle waited until May for her runway debut at the 2026 SI Swimsuit Show on May 30. The 32-year-old finally joined the premier event of Miami Swim Week on 30 May and debuted at the 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show held at the luxurious W South Beach.
Her metallic blue one-piece walk drew cheers, including from her husband George. But her workout routine wasn't all that she did to achieve her ramp-worthy physique.
Beyond the gym: diet and detox protocol
Kittle knew the workout alone wouldn't cut it, and diet was equally critical. She was aware of the seriousness of her assignment, and hence, not only did she eat clean, but she also went through an entire medical process.
"Leading up to my cover shoot in January, I did a major detox with a company called The Wellness Method and had extensive blood work done, including hormone testing, functional medicine panels, and a cancer screening," Kittle said to SI Swimsuit. "I felt the healthiest I’ve ever felt after doing that, and I was able to maintain those results leading up to the runway [show]."
So, now that you know what it takes to maintain a physique like Kittle, will you be more serious about your own body?
