David Chokachi at 58 Is in Better Shape Than His 90s Era

The 90s heartthrob David Chokachi has redefined his prime, displaying peak conditioning now, decades after his Baywatch fame.
On March 30, Men's Active posted a caption on Instagram that said, “David Chokachi played Cody Madison on Baywatch from 1995 to 1999 — the show that reached an estimated one billion viewers in 200 countries. He was 27 when he walked into that casting room.”
Though he is now 58, the post states, “At 52, he told interviewers he was in the best shape of his life.” And years later, that statement still stands. He uses simple methods:
- Intermittent fasting
- Consistent training
- Focus on maintaining a physique beyond the screen.
The post further revealed, “No trainer-dependent transformation. No movie prep. Just a standard that never dropped. His training philosophy was always athletic.” Baywatch actor regularly practices:
- Swimming
- Paddle workout
- Ocean running
- Deep sand sprints
- Personal strength work
The message continues, “The framework built in his 20s for a TV role became a lifestyle that outlasted the show by three decades. Most men peak at 30 and spend the next 25 years explaining why. Chokachi didn’t get that memo.” And it ended with a very serious question: “What’s your excuse?”
The American actor maintains a highly disciplined and fit lifestyle. He shared a video on March 21 on his Instagram, captioned “Repost @afterbaywatch How the OGs prepare….. This guy better be shirtless behind the bar! @baywatchtv #baywatch #afterbaywatch #davidchokachi @therealdavidchokachi thanks to @neo_science for all the equipment.” In the video, he was seen doing:
- Using a hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) bed
- Pull-ups
- Dips
- Sauna
- Ice bath
To maintain his fitness in his 50s, he is pushing himself to the limits. Beyond workouts and training, the actor is also an animal lover and enjoys spending time with animals.
Besides this, he is once again returning to his famous shows after a decade.
