8-time CrossFit champion Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr balances motherhood and training
Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr, the 8-time CrossFit Games champion, doesn't settle for anything less than perfection. The Olympian is now training as a mother of two.
LSKD, Toomey-Orr's apparel partner, shared the update this week, celebrating her return to movement following the arrival of her second child.
"Greatness has never meant standing still," stated the caption.
Toomey-Orr and husband Shane Orr welcomed son Koda Toomey Orr in mid-May 2026, joining big sister Willow, born in May 2023. The Australian-born couple, now based in Nashville, Tennessee, announced Koda's arrival on Instagram shortly after the birth.
In the video carousel on Instagram, she is seen rowing and biking in the gym with her older daughter. Other than that, she is seen jogging, keeping herself fit despite being a new mother.

She also posed for pictures, solo in some and with her partner in some, along with their kid.
With just about 2 months into being a second-time mother, Toomey-Orr is doing everything to stay at the top of her sport.
Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr completes full Hyrox race while pregnant
Months before welcoming her second child, Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr was still racing at full tilt. The eight-time CrossFit Games champion completed a full Hyrox race alongside her husband and coach, Shane Orr, roughly four months into her pregnancy, as per BoxRox.
The couple teamed up in the Mixed Doubles division at the 2026 Hyrox Americas Championships in Washington, D.C., finishing in 1:21:48. It marked her first Hyrox race with Shane after previously setting a Women's Doubles world record alongside Joanna Wietrzyk.
Rather than racing for the podium, Toomey-Orr embraced the run as a rare chance to enjoy competition without pressure, a mindset shift that carried into her approach to motherhood the second time around.
Do you think it's wise to race while pregnant, or should she have taken the season off entirely?
