Fitness icon Mike O'Hearn takes a horseback ride to McDonald's drive-thru

Most of us generally pay a visit to a McDonald’s drive-thru in our cars. Of course, leave it to Mike O’Hearn to find a way to make a hilarious entrance on horseback. The bodybuilding icon turned heads as he arrived on July 6, 2026, at around 2 pm on horseback at a local Għargħur McDonald’s drive-thru in Malta.

O’Hearn arrived ‘knight-in-shining-armor’ style with Adam Sullivan, founder of Bulletproof Culture. Their unconventional entrance made people stop and stare; many customers even approached them for pictures. The Instagram video posted by @lovinmalta gained thousands of likes and several comments.

A part of the caption reads, "The pair casually made their way through the drive-thru, leaving customers and passers-by doing double takes as they waited for their orders."

Although O’Hearn has his own popular training platform called Titan Training, he has recently been collaborating with Sullivan and his fitness brand, Bulletproof Culture.

Together, they take part in various pubic stunts, workouts, events, and fitness campaigns designed to encourage people to take on an active lifestyle.

O'Hearn has continued to expand his own training platform, Titan Training, offering personalized workout programs and nutrition guidance. The members-only app focuses on longevity and sustainable fitness as opposed to quick, easy transformations.

Similarly, in his personal life, O’Hearn follows a disciplined lifestyle complete with a healthy, nutritious diet and regular workouts.

Inside Mike O’Hearn’s workout and diet routine

Don’t let O’Hearn’s recent appearance at McDonald’s fool you. The fitness icon follows an extremely strict routine in his personal life, relying on his signature Power Bodybuilding philosophy.

As per Muscle and Fitness, O’Hearn’s Power Bodybuilding split is designed to train one major muscle group per session. He uses heavy compound lifts along with exercises like squats, deadlifts, bench presses, pull-ups, rows, and overhead presses.

His signature leg workout might seem simple at first, but it combines basic movements with heavy weights and reps. It includes the following:

  • 7 sets of back squats with 4 reps
  • 4 sets of leg presses for 8-15 reps
  • 4 sets of hack squats for 10 reps
  • 5 sets of lying leg curls for 8-12 reps

Typically, O’Hearn opts for heavy weights with multiple reps, believing it helps strengthen his body. He admitted to regularly squatting and deadlifting with 650 lbs. That said, O’Hearn has not had many gym injuries, which he credits to his habit of heavy lifting from a young age.

“Heavy weights strengthen you from the inside out,” O’Hearn said. “I’ve developed stronger tendons, connective tissue, and bone density.”
