Here’s How Dakota Johnson Stays Fit and Camera-Ready All Year Long

At 36, the Austin, Texas-born Dakota Johnson is always surrounded by filming, red carpets, photoshoots, and paparazzi. Which makes it very important for her to maintain good health. So, despite juggling a busy life, what practices does Dakota follow to always stay in shape throughout the year?
What keeps Dakota Johnson in shape?
A good amount of exercise and a healthy diet are the obvious answers, but it's not as easy as it sounds. For starters, each movie role or project has seen her follow a very particular regimen.
Consider 50 Shades Freed, where renowned celeb trainer and wellness coach Ramona Braganza shared in an interview with Healthista that Dakota Johnson was put through her paces with both high-intensity bodyweight and lightweight exercise four times a week.
“It was more of a dancer-type approach,” added Ramona Braganza, insisting that warm-ups were nothing more than stretching.
It would also include more floor-based exercises, including planks, Pilates-based abs, and legs while lying down. If you think it ends here, well, consider it a starter.
Dakota used to go through hot yoga sessions twice a week, followed by her personal cardio workouts on a treadmill.

Consider another movie, say, Madame Web, where Dakota Johnson used to go through a traditional 45-minute full-body Sculpt Society class. It was a mixture of dance cardio warm-up and toning exercises with the help of small weights that would fully target her arms, legs, and glutes.
All of these tough workouts were followed up by a proper recovery session.
In fact, most of these things are mere habits that Johnson has been following since her childhood. “I danced as a child, so I have to exercise every day, or I’ll go crazy,” said the co-star of The Social Network (2010) in an interview with Vogue UK.
While this was all about her intense workout, Dakota also follows a specific diet plan.
Any fancy diet to remain in shape?
Her coach, Ramona Braganza, urged the actress to follow a 3-2-1 method. The approach includes having three main meals, two snacks, and at least a liter of water every day.
For breakfast, Dakota was advised to add some complex carbohydrates, such as oatmeal, along with a poached egg. Meals like lean meat, fish, and salads were also added to her diet, which used to be prepared by grilling instead of frying.
And being strict wasn't all, as the Actress would be allowed to have occasional indulgences like a glass of wine.
“It just feels better. And, I think as you get older, you also learn how important sleep, nutrition, and hydration are as well. I can see the difference in my skin and how I feel, my energy," Dakota Johnson added in the Vogue UK interview.
