Here’s How Gwyneth Paltrow’s Workout and Diet Routine Looks Like

Gwyneth Paltrow, with her exceptional acting skills, not only won the Academy Award at the 1999 Oscars, but also convinced us that she is the perfect girlfriend for Iron Man.

However, at 53, maintaining a fit physique is not easy, and Gwyneth Paltrow has done it with grace. And now we are going to see the insights into her workout routine and diet.

Gwyneth Paltrow wakes up early in the morning, to be precise, at 6 A.M. She starts her day with a coffee and then raw cream. She works out 6 days a week, but with low intensity. Her approach is “ to do something — a little something — everyday.”

According to Eat This, Not That!,  Paltrow is a fan of yoga. In one Instagram post (now-deleted), she said, “I started yoga when I was 25 years old, and it totally transformed my body and mind.” To stretch her legs, she takes multiple rounds in the office, “Even just going for an hour walk. Or like now, I'm walking around our giant Goop office.” 

Back in the days, she followed a rigorous workout routine. But now her workout depends on her choices. She prefers walking and pilates because “heavy Pilates reformer things twice a week, because my perimenopausal bones need to do heavy.”

Gwyneth's routine also includes a cold plunge and sauna. She said, “I dry brush, and I get in the sauna. So, I do my infrared sauna for 30 minutes.” This keeps her skin looking fresh and lustrous. Paltrow’s mornings are not just full of workouts and exercises.

Paltrow's breakfast includes a protein-dense smoothie, which helps her replenish energy to complete all her tasks.

Her usual lunch includes salads with fish, which gives her an adequate amount of fibre and protein, as well as all the essential micronutrients and antioxidants. After coming back home from long work, the first thing she does is, “It’s go, go, go until dinner time, and then I’m going to throw my [expletive] computer in the Atlantic Ocean.”

She prefers to eat dinner early, and she said, “For dinner, I try to eat according to paleo.” Her dinner includes lots of vegetables. “So lots of vegetables. It's really important for me to support my detox.” She also added, “This is not to say that I eat this way all day every day.” 

Gwyneth also admitted that she does eat a lot of things and does not stick to a restrictive diet. She said, “By the way, I far more than bone broth and vegetables. I eat full meals.”

She follows a well-balanced diet that blends all the essential nutrients to strengthen her body and provide steady energy throughout the day.
