Back in 2021–2022, Carlos Alcaraz was much skinnier than he is today. After that period, the Spaniard understood the importance of gaining muscle, which is now evident, especially in his legs and core.

Carlos combines his gym workouts in such a manner that it's best for his tennis-specific drills. His routine mainly includes resistance training, dynamic footwork drills, core workouts, and rotational exercises.
Coach Patrick Mouratoglou even calls him an exception for combining power with elite movement.
Rather than spending too much time in the gym, Carlos uses bands, bodyweight exercises, and occasionally explosive lifts as part of his workout routine.
However, before all of his training, he follows a schedule that makes his workouts even smoother.
Alcaraz’s Warm-Up Routine
When asked in his conversation with GQ about the foremost physical activity he does before starting any workout, Alcaraz expressed, “Stretching comes first, always. Whatever I’m doing afterwards, stretching is always the first step.”

- Copenhagen plank variations

In another online video, Alcaraz includes wall sits, air pulses, single-leg pulses, and shadow tennis reaction drills to train himself to perform better.
