Khloé Kardashian’s Post-Divorce Transformation Through Workouts and Diet

Khloé Kardashian is opening up about her post-divorce transformation. On a recent podcast, she revealed her 2016 divorce was the 'catalyst' for her fitness journey. The reality star also shared her past struggles with binge eating and body image. 

On March 18, during an episode of her podcast “Khloé In Wonder Land,” she answered a listener’s question about binge eating. The listener also asked for her opinion on feeling “rejected” after dates and feeling anxious about appearance.

The founder of Good American confessed and said, “When I was younger, I used to binge eat. I went to therapy about it. For any emotional thing, I turned to food, and there was just no stopping me. I would eat, eat, eat, literally get sick, and then feel disgusted with myself for how much I ate.”

In the podcast, the 41-year-old reflected on her journey to shed pounds and admitted that her 2016 divorce from Lamar Odom kick-started her weight loss. The Kardashian said, “My divorce was really the catalyst to why I became obsessed, in a healthy way, with working out.”

She further added, “I realized during my marriage that I ate so much and I would eat my feelings and I didn't like how that made me feel.” Due to her lifestyle and poor diet, she started having problems like “bad skin” and feeling like she could “never be in a bathing suit.”

The founder of the popcorn brand “Khloud” further admitted that she compared herself with her own sisters.

She further shared a harsh reality of the fitness journey. She explained, “The first six months to a year, it's just uncomfortable because you feel you're still insecure, you're busting your a** in the gym, you're not really seeing a big shift on the scale, but you got to keep going.” 

She also added, “You’re eating healthy, you’re exercising, I honestly feel the more you exercise, the clearer your mind will feel and the stronger you will feel mentally. If you can, I think going to therapy is so helpful. I know it did wonders for me.”

The mother of two is not only saying these things to motivate people, but she literally makes fitness a part of her life to stay healthy and fit. 

Khloé Kardashian’s Fitness Routine

According to CelebWell, Khloé Kardashian has lost almost 40 pounds since 2007. Her workout mainly combines:

  • Circuit training
  • BOSU ball workout
  • Cardio
  • Rowing

Apart from this, Kardashian likes to incorporate a variety of movements in her routine, such as:

  • HIIT training
  • SoulCycle
  • Pilates

Her fit and toned physique is the result of her consistency in the gym and with her healthy diet.
