Looks like there's no stopping the veteran skier Lindsey Vonn. After her devastating injury, she recently posted how she is again in the gym recovering from her setback.

The 41-year-old crashed during the downhill event early this year in the winter Olympics. The crash led to a tibia fracture, and Vonn had to undergo multiple surgeries.

She shared a look into her recovery, posting a series of photos on Instagram with a simple caption: “life lately.”

From intense physiotherapy to knee rehabilitation exercises, Vonn shared a glimpse into her daily treatment, featuring her pet dog.

Nine days before her fall in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Vonn ruptured the ACL in her left knee in another crash in Switzerland.

Vonn has said that she had “no regrets” about her decision to race. “Knowing I stood there having a chance to win was a victory in and of itself. I also knew that racing was a risk," said the Olympic gold medalist.

"It always was and always will be an incredibly dangerous sport,” she wrote on social media on February 9.

Lindsey Vonn refuses to rush retirement decision

Lindsey Vonn said that she’s “not ready to think about” her future in Alpine skiing in the wake of her devastating Olympic crash that left her with a serious leg injury.

Vonn returned to competitive skiing in November 2024 after more than five years away.

A year later, she emerged as the best women’s speed skier in the world again, leading the World Cup standings this season in the downhill and not far off the top spot in super-G.

But after suffering a complex tibia fracture, she said she nearly lost her leg as a result.

“I was already retired for 6 years and have an amazing life outside of skiing,” Vonn wrote. “It was incredible to be #1 in the world again at 41 years old and set new records in my sport.

I don’t need anyone’s permission to do what makes me happy. Maybe that means racing again, maybe that doesn’t. Only time will tell." Added Vonn.

So will there be another comeback, or is this a curtain call for Vonn? Let us know in the comments.
