MrBeast Gives Jesse James West a 12-Rep Challenge for 100m Subscribers

What happens when a fitness influencer meets the YouTube maestro? That's exactly what happened when Jesse James West met MrBeast creator, James Donaldson, for an unlikely collab. Things were sure to turn electrifying.

West, who often attempts extreme athletic challenges, recently posted a video clip from his latest YouTube video with MrBeast on Instagram, captioned "Get me to 100 million!" But that lucrative goal came with a price.

'Jimmy', known for his adrenaline-inducing contests, challenged West to hit 12 clean reps of chest press with 100 lbs dumbbells. Yes, that equals a colossal total of 200 lbs!

"If you hit 12 reps, you'll hit 100 million subscribers," MrBeast teased. For a YouTuber, the pursuit was tempting enough for West to move mountains, with the influencer hitting a total of 13 impressive reps.

So, has West hit 100 million subscribers? Well, as of now, the reality remains miles farther from the goal, at just over 9.5 million subscribers. However, West's frequent captivating videos show his dedication to the YouTube gig.

The fitness creator has met and collaborated with A-list athletes, including Tom Brady and Chris Bumstead. Moreover, West took the collab with MrBeast to an interesting turn, following the YouTube sensation's morning routine.

In the full video, the internet personality joined six influencers for their morning routines and training regimens, including Mark Wahlberg and Rhea Ripley.

Joining James Donaldson, who has undergone an insane physical transformation, shedding over 50 lbs, West opened the blinds on what it meant to run a viral channel.

MrBeast revealed that he usually wakes up at 1 pm. This might sound strange and maybe even unhealthy. However, given that the YouTuber mostly shoots at night to avoid awkward sunlight angles, bedtimes can often be skewed into the early morning.

The two influencers then went on to the massive, state-of-the-art Beast Arena gym to hit Donaldson's daily workout. Moreover, 'Jimmy's daily calorie intake includes 2,200 calories.

“How much am I eating right now? 2,200. I’m trying to get lean. I need to lose weight," he shared, after he had to step away from training for 2 months following a wrist injury.

And while he still has a long way to go, MrBeast values consistency over unsustainable fitness gimmicks. What's a lesson you can take from MrBeast's flexible morning routine?
