MrBeast Shares His Daily Calorie Intake with Jesse James West

Best known for his massive YouTube challenges and record-breaking giveaways, MrBeast has become a common name on social media. In a recent video posted by Jesse James West, they discuss his daily calorie intake post recovery.

MrBeast revealed how he is only consuming 2,200 calories now as he is trying to lose weight and get lean. This recent change in his diet was initiated by his recovery session post a wrist injury, where he was unable to work out for two months.

“How much am I eating right now? 2,200. I’m trying to get lean,” he tells West. “I need to lose weight.”

He also reveals that he recently got laser surgery for acne scar removal on his face. This, along with his wrist injury, forced him to take a step back from his training. However, MrBeast is now back at the gym and plans on becoming lean and shredded again by adjusting his calorie intake.

His approach is simple: a proper calorie-controlled diet along with a good training program and daily walks.

A Look Into MrBeast’s Diet and Workout Philosophy

Since being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, MrBeast has been following a low-FODMAP diet to eliminate his triggers. According to FitnessClone, he has eliminated fried and processed food, grains, dairy products, and even certain fruits and vegetables from his diet.

Rather than following trendy diet plans, he sticks to the basics:

  • Ground beef
  • Fish
  • Eggs
  • Chicken
  • Green beans
  • Carrots
  • Ethically sourced and minimally processed chocolates
  • Sweet potatoes
  • Coffee
  • Squash
  • Spinach
  • Celery
  • Peanuts
  • Lactose-free dairy

His secret to fitness is as simple as his diet. He doesn’t believe in following online fads or overtraining for results. Rather, he recommends simply staying consistent with a workout routine for at least three months, till it becomes a habit.

He reveals that he made a deal with YouTuber and friend Eric Asian Sticker to work out daily for a year. If either of them were unable to keep their end of the deal, they would have to get the other's face tattooed on themselves. This turned out to be quite a motivation for MrBeast, helping him stick to his workouts.

“Still got a long way to go, but I’m happy with my progress so far.”

He enjoys weightlifting, but stresses the importance of having a sustainable workout and diet plan.

Consistency beats perfection- a simple lesson that everyone can learn from the famous MrBeast.
