NFL stars Myles Garrett and Will Anderson Jr. train ahead of camp
Myles Garrett and Will Anderson Jr. may represent different teams in the NFL. But that didn't stop them from sharpening their skills together with a game-specific training session recently.
Garrett, the defensive end/edge rusher for the Los Angeles Rams, has faced the Houston Texans' defensive end multiple times. But during the preseason camp, they keep their differences aside to train under former defensive tackle-turned-trainer Brandon Jordan.
On July 15, the NFL shared a video on its official Instagram account that displayed Garrett and Anderson Jr. delving into game-specific training. It showcased the two edge rushers training to overcome the resistance from their opponents to carry on their runs.

Besides the game-specific training, as seen on the Instagram post, the intense nature of NFL games requires players like Garrett and Anderson Jr. to maintain peak physical conditioning. As a result, both of them also sweat inside the gym besides training on the gridiron.
Considering that Garrett and Anderson play for different NFL franchises, and the fact that most teams prefer having specialized trainers, their practice of training together seems rather uncanny.
However, the duo shares a common opinion about the level of their own preparation, which helps them stay secure even with an opponent training alongside them under the same coach.
How do Myles Garrett and Will Anderson stay untroubled with training under the same coach despite being opponents?
An Instagram video from chasing10fishing displayed Garrett and Anderson in conversation with the former NFL player, Randy Moss, where the two talked about their uncanny practice of training together despite being opponents.
Moss highlighted how most NFL stars of his time wouldn't be ok with training alongside an opponent under the same coach. Garrett and Anderson teamed up to reply to Moss' revelation about why they stay secure about the same.
Garrett initiated it, saying, "Who cares, bro? Either you gonna get it or you ain't. That's it." Anderson agreed by repeating, "That's it."
Garrett continued, "I ain't scared of anybody learning. At the end of the day, I gotta go out there and do it."
Well, Anderson may not have spoken much. But, understandably, the gist of his answer wouldn't have been much different.
But while Garrett enjoyed the upper hand over Anderson in the last season by leading his team to a deeper playoff run, do you think the Houston Texans edge rusher will manage to turn the tables in the 2026-27 season?
