Paul Dillett’s Physique 30 Years After His Bodybuilding Prime Gains Attention

At 61, Paul Dillett looks nothing like the 290-pound mass monster of the 1990s—and his fans are celebrating why. An Instagram post comparing Paul Dillett at 290 pounds in 1995 to his leaner 2026 physique sparked a wave of fan praise.

Let’s unroll the whole story.

On June 14, the official Instagram handle of Coachify.AI shared a post, captioning:

“👀 Paul Dillett was once one of the biggest bodybuilders on the planet, yet many people today call him “small” when they see recent photos of him.”

The post further reads, “What often gets ignored is that Dillett has explained he no longer had a reason to maintain a 300+ pound bodybuilding physique after retiring from competition. His goal was never to stay stage-ready forever-it was to move on, prioritize his health, and enjoy life beyond bodybuilding.”

The post contains a collage of pictures of Dillett (known as Freakeinstein) at age 30 in 1995, contrasted with a 2026 photo of him (also called Jurassic Paul) at 61. And the contract is clearly visible in terms of physique.

At 30 years of age, Dillett was in his prime and competing, so he had a perfectly conditioned body, a 29-inch waist, and weighed 290 lbs. By contrast, the 2026 picture of Jurassic Paul showed up in a lean but perfectly maintained physique.

In fact, the bodybuilder once said,

“People say I look skinny now. Bro, I’m 60 years old. I’m not trying to carry 300+ pounds anymore. I’ve got nothing else to prove.”

Most 60-year-olds carrying 300+ pounds face mobility issues; Dillett's lean, active physique is rare in that age bracket. Now with a leaner physique and having shed massive mass, the bodybuilder is prioritizing his mobility, health, and longevity in his early 60s.

His fans couldn’t stop praising his transformation.

Fans' reaction to Paul Dillett's transformation

One fan commented on the post, writing, “🙌he looks 👍 and great job staying fit. The percentage of 300+ lbs 60-year-olds is very low, lower for 70-year-olds, and microscopic for 80-year-olds. Longevity demands staying as slim as possible. The numbers don’t lie.”

While another fan highlighted his health and mobility aspect by saying, “He looks good at 60 years old, healthy, not in a wheelchair 👏👏👏”

One supporter simply praised him by saying, “My Fav mass monster of all Time!!! Big Paul 🔥🔥🔥”

Functional and longevity are the two most important things every individual must take care of while getting older, which is why one fan supported him by saying, “Looks better and healthier- a strong functional body”

One astonished fan simply wrote, “This dude was a shapeshifter,” after seeing his transformation.
