Ronnie Coleman Trains Shoulders and Arms With Arnold Schwarzenegger

Among the many highlights of the 2026 Arnold Classic, one was the reunion of the 2 legends, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ronnie Coleman, and the former also helped the latter train following their meetup.

This time, the 8x Mr. Olympia, Coleman, trained his arms and shoulders with the 7x Mr. Olympia, as displayed by Coleman's Instagram post on March 6.

His caption read, "Little bit of shoulders & arms with @schwarzenegger!! Always a legendary workout when Arnold and I get together… Yeah Buddy!!"

In the first scene of the video, 'The Austrian Oak' approached 'The King' and said, "I hope we can do a few exercises together. Little shoulders, little arms, or something like that.” Coleman agreed, saying, “Okay, that sounds good to me.”

After taking his pre-workout supplement, "Yeah buddy," Coleman started doing the Seated Machine Lateral Raise.

Arnold also did not stop himself from praising Coleman for his deltoids. He said, “Look at those deltoids. They're pumping up while you're moving. I can see you getting bigger and bigger and bigger. You must have had a special drink before you did this exercise”.

That's when Coleman revealed that his pre-workout supplement was named after his own signature catchphrase, "Yeah, buddy."

But this was far from being the first time that these two bodubuilding legends caught up and trained together, years after they gave up competing professionally.

Bodybuilding fans might be touched by the aforementioned video featuring Schwarzenegger supervising Coleman's workout, but the same incident has already happened previously.

On June 17, 2025, Coleman shared a video on his YouTube channel in which he was seen working out his arms and shoulders with Arnold at Gold’s Gym.

But while Schwarzenegger watched over Coleman's training in the recent video, he joined 'The King' and trained alongside him during their 2025 meetup.

Their workout session included movements like:

  • Seated Machine Lateral Raise: 3 x 15-20
  • Seated Machine Rear Delt Flye: 5 x 10
  • Machine Seated Dip: 5 x 15
  • Machine Preacher Curl: 5 x 15.

The mutual respect between the two spoke volumes about how the two legends hold each other in high regard.
