On Samson Dauda’s YouTube channel, his wife, Marlena, revealed that bodybuilding once tested their relationship. The friction peaked when they struggled with adjustments made by her, which Samson didn’t like.

Marlena revealed that as disagreements grew more intense, they decided to hire a coach to train him. However, nothing changed, “I was thinking, “Okay, when he’s in a bad mood, he’s really on me, right?” But that didn’t change.”

She expressed that despite having a new coach, she was still actively involved in his bodybuilding career, “I was always as involved emotionally, um, practically as well.” When Dauda began working with his first coach, instead of things improving, the journey became more complex.

“So when he had his first coach, I realized that nothing really changes, because there were times when I felt that perhaps maybe it does have a negative impact on our relationship, me coaching him, and especially when we would be arguing because he wouldn't like the changes that I was making,” she concluded.

Marlena has been monumental in Dauda’s journey, so much so that he expressed that if she leaves, he will leave bodybuilding for good.

Despite the great success Samson Dauda has achieved in his life, he has recently faced criticism from the community and spoken openly about the negativity surrounding this arrangement.

In his conversation with BeyondTheStageTv, he dropped his confession about the criticism, “This person has been there the whole time and been completely and utterly selfless in every way, get completely demolished by people that didn’t care or didn’t know.”

He further added, “You have to sit there and grit your teeth and take it. It really pissed me off. I sat there, and I heard so many foul things being said, and I thought, I wanted to lash out.”

Samson Dauda will not leave Marlena’s side, and the same goes for Marlena. Given that, what is your opinion on them?
