Torrie Wilson, 50, Consistently Trains & Sets New Fitness Aims to Get Stronger
For years, Torrie Wilson appeared in the ring as a WWE Diva. Now, after retiring, she still captures fans' attention through her fitness and shredded physique. At 50, she remains consistent with her training and aims to get stronger.
In a new Instagram status, while exercising on a seated cable row, Wilson gave her 1.1M fans a glimpse of her training approach to achieve her new goal. She wrote, “always new goalzzz to get stronger”.
She performed the seated cable row on a dual-pulley cable machine, which is highly beneficial for building upper-body strength.
The WWE HoF has been serious about her fitness since the early days, and this is not the first time she has challenged herself.
For instance, on March 27, 2025, Wilson shared details about her cardio challenge in an Instagram caption, “I love a good challenge. I let myself get here & you can bet I’ll get myself out! Life seems like a constant balancing act. Rarely is everything in sync for long. Evaluate & make changes! What can you get better at?”
In the video, the former WWE star was seen doing Vertical Climber for 3 rounds, each lasting about 60 seconds.
During the session, Wilson also revealed that she is not good at fast movements. However, this was her challenge to focus more on fast movements, as cardio demands.
Apart from that, a typical day in her life is filled with discipline, and to stay fit, Wilson regularly follows a routine:
- Morning walk with her dogs
- Workout in her home gym
- Having creatine for muscle building
- Protein-packed meal
- Whenever she gets time, she walks
While Wilson remains in the spotlight for her fitness and workout videos, she also shared expert advice on staying motivated on a struggling day or an off day.
Torrie Wilson’s tips for managing struggling days
On October 20, 2024, Wilson shared a preview of her struggles in an Instagram post. She wrote, “Struggle days all look different for me, except for one thing: I still show the heck up. It may not be pretty, but let’s be real, every day is not going to be awesome in every aspect of life”.
According to the fit mom, everyone faces difficult days, weeks, or months. In those cases, most of them decide not to show up.
Wilson admitted that the first thing that one must do is maintain their consistency. She said:
“We just gotta show up however we can and understand that the consistency with our habits is what sets us apart from the pack. And leads to lifelong habits”.
Even bodybuilding legends like Arnold Schwarzenegger support the same philosophy about consistency and showing up.
Hulk Hogan, the former American professional wrestler, once admitted to Men's Health that, “Arnold says something really, really important that I picked up. On one time he said even if you don't feel good, even if you don't feel like training, still go to the gym anyway”.
The 7-time Mr. Olympia suggested that during a low, start with a lighter weight, and the rhythm will eventually come.
So, consistency and self-challenge are the real drivers behind Wilson’s fit physique, even at 50.
