When Brock Lesnar Admitted About His Major Diet Change Following a Switch From WWE to UFC
Brock Lesnar, the professional wrestler, UFC mixed martial artist, and WWE performer, is synonymous with monstrous strength. The Beast Incarnate is also famous for being one of the most muscular wrestlers of all time.
However, that type of physique is built not only through intense workouts but also through a proper diet. Apart from that, Lesnar transitioned from WWE to MMA and signed with the UFC before 2010.
He originally parted ways with WWE in 2004 to focus on a football career, later transitioning to MMA, and made his UFC debut in February 2008. However, 2010 is significant for him because that year he made his highly anticipated return at UFC 116 against Shane Carwin after being sidelined for a year with diverticulitis.
According to a Yahoo Sports article, Lesnar went through a major dietary change not only for his return but also to recover from diverticulitis. During a UFC 116 teleconference, Lesnar said, “I've gotten rid of a lot of bad things in my diet. I'm eating a lot cleaner.”

He admitted that he was eating boiled potatoes, chicken, and broccoli.
Later, Lesnar added, “I've had to change my diet, and you have to make food part of your life. I feel better. I recover faster. If I wasn't seeing the results I'm seeing, it would be very hard to do.”
At that time, he was weighing around 265 lbs, much less than the size he used to be.
Despite being the opponent, Carwin said, “With cleaning up his diet, I'm sure he's just as strong and probably more explosive. You know the extra weight we carry, I don't think it's that important.”
According to Lesnar, at that time he was consuming 3200 calories a day.
Despite all the physical challenges, Lesnar defeated Shane Carwin via a second-round submission.
Although a detailed breakdown of his 2010 regimen is not available, Generation Iron once revealed Lesnar's overall diet.
