A Look Back at Katy Perry’s Workout and Diet Routine That Kept Her Stage-Ready Over the Years

Katy Perry made history this year, but it wasn't with her music. She went to space, and that came after a lot of hard work.

Well, as Perry revealed back in 2024, during the ITV concert special, “You know what I love to do? I love to dance, swim, and do things that don't feel like working out”.

However, Katy Perry does train

Katy Perry once shared with Women's Health that she likes snowboarding. That works as a cardio tool for her. She also jokingly admitted to the Wall Street Journal that she is always “half-late to the workout”.

However, when it comes to training for a concert, the “Roar” singer always enters the stage properly prepared because Katy Perry knows that performing on stage requires a lot of energy, and that can only be managed through proper training.

For maintaining her strength and avoiding any onstage issues, she prefers to do weight training 3 to 4 times a week. Sometimes she also plays pickleball with her friends to stay fit.

“I have so many marks to hit, and so many things that I have to make feel effortless and easy and natural, but they're actually very technical. I'm hanging on wires, I'm masquerading as a Cirque de Soleil performer many of the times…. I can fall into the pit hole of losing all the muscle or losing all of the motivation or just stamina in the in-between.”

Katy Perry’s diet

Katy Perry admitted that she tried to eat fish or chicken and plenty of vegetables, fruits, seeds, and nuts, as per her ex fiance’s routine.

Her morning starts with a glass of water. She also consumes apple cider vinegar and celery juice in the morning. After that, her breakfast contains a boiled egg or a banana. For lunch, she mostly consumes soup or protein salad.

She herself shared that she eats multiple eggs daily, “Because they are a great source of protein.”

Katy Perry started to eat her dinner early, which mostly consisted of simple things like grilled chicken with asparagus and quinoa. However, once or twice a week, she also eats pasta.
