Amazing Moments to Look Out for in the New Olympia Movie on Amazon Prime
Mr. Olympia has been around for 60 years and has given us some of the fittest and most powerful men in the world.
Now, on its 60th anniversary, director Vlad Yudin has come up with the documentary, “Dream Big: The Olympia movie,” to honor Joe Weider's initiative in 1965. Terrick El Guindy, an IFBB Pro League judge, on his Instagram account, has shared a glimpse of some amazing moments from the movie.
With a short clip of the movie, he said, “The movie, Dream Big, the Mr. Olympia movie, is out and it's awesome. You get a chance to watch what's behind the stage. My two favorite moments. Number two, the relationship off stage. Samson, Douda, and Marlena. Nick Walker he's so raw. Laura Lee Chapados, yeah, she's emotional. It means the world to her”.
Terrick also said, “And number one, we get a chance to really get to know the owner of the Olympia, Jake Wood. He's truly the biggest bodybuilding fan. And I know Jake personally, he's one of the nicest people in the world. This is an incredible movie. I'm going to leave the link right here. Prime Video. You want to watch Dream Big.”
Wood is the central figure in this documentary and has appeared in the movies to discuss his vision.
What will be most amazing for fans is that they can see their favorite bodybuilders in this movie. Multiple bodybuilding stars like Hadi Choopan, Nick Walker, Jack Wood, Samson Dauda, Derek Lunsford, and Andrew are featured in this movie.
The movie, released on 9 th December 2025 on Amazon Prime Video, shows “behind the scenes” situations. The preparation for the 4 billion US dollars venue, Resorts World Las Vegas, for this event will be seen.
So, we know that this movie is dedicated to celebrating Joe Weider’s creation. However, do you know the motive behind the creation of Mr. Olympia?
The vision
Joe Wider’s vision behind creating Mr. Olympia was clear: he wanted to open a path for Mr. Universe winners to keep competing and earn recognition. He also wanted to allow amateur bodybuilders to participate and earn money.

When Wider visited Larry Scott about the Mr. Olympia idea, Scott fully supported it. However, when the first Mr. Olympia winner heard the name, he thought Wider named the competition behind the Olympia Brewing Company.
Later, Wider replied, “No! No! It’s like Mount Olympus, like where all the Greek gods were on Mount Olympus”.
This was a quick history of this world-level bodybuilding competition and the vision behind it. However, the movie will show you more insight into the competition. So, have you watched this movie?
