Amy Schumer Spotted After 50 Lbs Weight Loss – Here’s Her Workout & Diet
Amy Schumer debuts her new physique, and it has gotten everyone talking.
Funny girl Amy Schumer has had a drastic transformation over the years. From being on the heavier side to losing an enormous amount of weight, she has come a long way. Just two days ago, she raised a few eyebrows by debuting her newly transformed body on Instagram.
The Trainwreck star has reportedly lost 50 lbs, and it was quite visible in the photo. She was posing in a beautiful white dress with her hair open. The 43-year-old has always been open about her struggles with her weight and the medical issues she has faced over the years.
In 2024, she revealed that she was diagnosed with Cushing syndrome, a hormonal disorder, which can prove fatal if left untreated. This led Schumer to make changes in her lifestyle, including starting training and adjusting her diet.
Schumer later gave an update on her health on Instagram by writing, "I have been working to be pain free and I finally am. My endometriosis is better. My back is healing. I no longer have Cushing syndrome so my face went back to normal. I am grateful to be strong and healthy, especially for my son.”
But last year, Schumer appeared on Howard Stern's SiriusXM show and stunned everyone by revealing that she had been diagnosed with GDF15, which makes a person prone to extreme nausea.
She said, "So, I tried Ozempic almost three years ago, and I was like bedridden. "I was like, vomiting, and then you have no energy. But other people take it, and they’re all good. So, God bless them."
It made her lose 30 lbs, but that came at the cost of her health. She later changed her medication, which proved to be a good decision, as her health started to recover. But now, she has lost 50 lbs, and this time she looks healthier as well. So, how did she achieve that?
Amy Schumer's training and diet routine
Amy Schumer trained under Harley Pasternak. When asked about Schumer, Pasternek told Health magazine, "First of all, Amy's naturally an athlete. She played sports at a high-level through high school and college, and was an aerobics instructor. So she's very coordinated and easy to push in the gym."
Her training routine involves the following exercises:

- Dumbbell Stiff Leg Deadlift
- Dumbbell Curl Press
- Single Arm Dumbbell Row
- Lying Dumbbell Triceps Extension With Hip Thrust
- Superman
- Spider Plank
Diet routine:
She follows a Mediterranean-style diet, which includes lean protein, healthy fats, fiber-rich carbs, and fermented foods. Her everyday meals include greens/avocado for breakfast, lentil salad with salmon for lunch, and roasted chicken with vegetables for dinner.
