Arnold Schwarzenegger Admits Doing the Same Core Exercises For Over 60 Years In Timeless Fitness Motivation

"They've been selling shortcuts since before I learned to benchpress, said Arnold Schwarzenegger, while announcing his partnership with Momentous on Instagram. However, he recommended the opposite.
"My vision was simple: becoming the greatest bodybuilder in the world. When I achieved that goal, my vision shifted to elevating the entire fitness industry so more people could experience what I feel when I train," Arnie wrote in the caption, but none of that came with shortcuts.
Instead, "Ignoring distractions, focusing on fundamentals, and showing up, rep after rep, day after day, year after year," was the only formula to his success. "I’ve been doing the same core exercises since I was 15," Schwarzenegger added to show what true consistency looks like.

The point of Schwarzengger's long caption was to drive home the fact that there are no overnight remedies to achieve a world-class aesthetic. "That’s why I’ve partnered with @live.momentous," wrote the 7x Mr. Olympia.
Yet, while Arnold Schwarzenegger believes in focusing on consistent hard work and only taking proven supplements, he is also big on mental health.
Arnold Schwarzenegger Recommended a Crash Diet With a Twist
Arnold Schwarzenegger, famous for his no-nonsense fitness approach, recently advocated a distinctive form of discipline.
On a fitness blog featured on Arnold’s Pump Club in December 2025, titled "Monday Motivation: Arnold’s Crash Diet," he shared an "all-out, no-holds-barred" diet.
He said, "I’m asking all of you to go on a diet. A crash diet…. But this isn’t a diet that will stop you from having a couple of cookies at your New Year’s celebration. It’s a diet for your brain."
The 78-year-old advised a 7-day diet for the brain to have "Zero Negativity" at its end. The world-famous bodybuilder-actor also detailed the specifics of the diet, including limiting social media use, cutting negativity, and finally stepping towards a lighter, more positive version.
If given the option, which one out of Schwarzenegger's physical and mental training would you like to experience?
