Arnold Schwarzenegger celebrates 79 by expanding his fitness mission

The legendary bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger celebrates his 79th birthday on July 30. But what caught fans' attention was his birthday post, which showcases his jaw-dropping physique in his late 80s and includes a message about his fitness mission.

On July 30, Schwarzenegger shared a carousel on his Instagram, captioning,

“I turn 79 today. I don’t want any gifts. Instead, my team and I are turning the fitness industry upside down.”

The post further continued to promote the Pump Club app and the benefits associated with it.

“Here it is. From today through Sunday, August 9, join the Pump Club app and complete four workout programs in your first year, and you pay nothing. Zero. Nada. Zilch.”

In the Instagram post, the actor and former California governor was seen doing exercises, including:

  • Lat pulldowns
  • Biceps Curls

The bodybuilder further shared how one can take advantage of the offer and start their fitness journey with the legend plans.

“Sign up. Try it free for 7 days. Pay $100 for your first year. Complete four programs. Get $100 back automatically. $50 after your first, $50 after your fourth. No fine print. Show up, do the work, and your first year is free.”

His post concludes with a beautiful message.

“I’ve been trying to get people to train for six decades, and I finally found something that works. If I can make millions of you train all year, I’ll take the loss.”

According to another post Arnie shared on social media on July 30, this is not a marketing gimmick but a simple deal:

“Train consistently, finish what you start, and your first year is on us.”

The 7-time Mr. Olympia winner not only wants a healthy body for himself but is also on a mission to help others become healthy and strong.

Along with his mission to make fitness accessible to all, he also prioritizes his physical fitness, even at 79.

The workout philosophy behind the mission

Schwarzenegger works out regularly not only to stay fit but also to remain mobile at his age. He even shares his training videos on social media with his fans.

On July 17, he shared a video captioned, “Arnold’s Pump Club is pulling up across the street from Gold’s Gym Venice with @live.momentous for a smoothie pop-up.” In the video, he was seen doing machine-based bicep curls.

On February 13, the Terminator actor shared a video on his social media, captioning it, “Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you.” In the footage, he was doing a machine chest fly.

In another video, shared on February 11, he was seen performing machine lateral raises. The post reads, “Rain or shine, the pump is always out there.”

This ideology of never stopping training is the real secret to the longevity of legendary bodybuilder and 7-time Olympia winner Arnold Schwarzenegger.
