Arnold Schwarzenegger reveals simple steps of workout and diet to get staggering results

Arnold Schwarzenegger believes that instead of simplifying fitness advice, people have made it far too complex.
When a fan commented, “So true! Too many posts are ‘15 things you need to do to lose 30 lbs’ that just scare people off starting the journey,” on Arnold’s X post, the six-time Mr. Olympia couldn’t resist responding. He explained that bodybuilding isn’t as complicated as people make it out to be.
“They all want to make it complicated. It’s not. Change your eating habits to prioritize protein and vegetables, and real food. Add resistance training. Move more outside of the gym. Those three things done consistently will lead to staggering results for most people,” said Arnold.
This was all part of an X thread, wherein Schwarzenegger himself was replying to a meme featuring him that read, "Arnold laughing @ us all for being sore after 2 days of his beginner workout," followed by a laughing emoji.
He wrote: "Ha! It would probably surprise you that I don’t try to make beginners sore. I want to make them fall in love with training, so I meet them where they are."
The user @FlatDadDave took the opportunity, and well, he got his reply.
Truth be told, there are countless ways to stay fit. However, there’s one universal rule that applies to all, and it’s often ignored.
Progressive overload and a caloric deficit or surplus.
These two are the foundational principles that people tend to overlook. But they stress supplements. And while we are on the thread, let's see what the legend thinks about supplementation.
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Top Three Supplements
In one of his newsletters, Arnold Schwarzenegger stated that out of everything, he only takes three supplements: protein, creatine, and vitamin D.
“I’ve probably recommended creatine to more people than any other single thing in my career. Not because it’s magical, but because the research is so consistent, it almost feels unfair to other supplements,” wrote Arnold Schwarzenegger in his newsletter.
‘The Austrian Oak’ further expressed that an estimated 35–50% of the global population has suboptimal vitamin D levels, adding, “The recommendation is straightforward: get tested. If your level is below 30 ng/mL, supplement with 1,000 to 3,000 IU daily. Or prioritize sunlight and fatty fish.”
