Arnold Schwarzenegger's on-set pranks are legendary. A resurfaced clip now reveals the clever way he won an arm-wrestling bet against his 'Predator' co-star, Jesse Ventura.

Since they needed to stay fit for the movie, intense gym sessions were part of the filming. Meanwhile, the seven-time Mr. Olympia and the wrestler often competed to see who was more fit. And just like that, there was a time when both of them wanted to test their prized possessions: their biceps, revealing the prankster side of Schwarzenegger to his co-star.

Remembering the moment, GymFailNation shared an old clip on March 27 on its Instagram, in which Schwarzenegger and Ventura were seen discussing the situation.

At the beginning of the clip, Ventura said with pride: “The biggest thrill for me was when we hit wardrobe, and I happened a few Arnold's wardrobe tape and when my arms taped out one inch. Bigger than Mr. Olympia's that made Jesse Ventura feel pretty good.”

So, it started after the Austrian native noticed the Minnesota-born co-star’s pride, he told the wardrobe department to inform him that his biceps measurement surpassed Mr. Olympia’s by an inch.

Schwarzenegger said, “Because I told the wardrobe department they should tell him that so I can bet him about what c******** after when he comes to the gym.”

And it went as he planned. The 7-time Mr. Olympia said, “he came to the gym. Two days later, and he says you know something, Arnold, we should measure our arms. Where's bigger arms. I said, of course, you should. I said, let's put a bottle of c********.

So, I mean, you know the psychotic trick trips they work on everybody and bodybuilders, and also wrestlers. It's good.”

Ultimately, Ventura not only lost his bet but also his pride, and it was revealed that Schwarzenegger’s arm was 3 inches larger.

While the bet was about pride, it did not make the chemistry between the two stars intense.

However, this wasn’t the first time Schwarzenegger played a prank on a co-star.

On the November 18, 2024, episode of the Still Here Hollywood podcast, Penelope Ann Miller shared a funny story about the Austrian athlete during the filming of Kindergarten Cop in 1990.

She said, “My first car that I ever bought new, I bought on Kindergarten Cop, and I had it delivered to the set. We were filming…. and I got this shiny red BMW, and I said, 'Oh, here's my car. You wanna come out and look at my car?' It was by my trailer, our trailers were across from each other, and he's like, 'This is new?”

She anxiously responded, “Yes, it's new. I just got it.' He's like, 'Oh, I don't know Penelope'... He started going around the car, looking underneath it. I said, 'But the odometer is like zero point whatever! He goes, 'Oh, they change that all the time. They just put it back. It could have had a lot of miles on it.' So I'm sitting there thinking myself, Oh my gosh, they sold me a used car. They've lied to me.”

Without wasting any time, Miller was about to go to the car dealer when Schwarzenegger stopped her and told the truth.

So, Schwarzenegger’s pranks reveal his true edge was not just bodybuilding and strength but also the ability to outsmart co-stars through psychological insight.
