Being Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter comes with several privileges, but for Katherine Schwarzenegger, the realization of her father's stardom came from an untoward experience she had multiple times.

Katherine appeared on the June 23, 2023, episode of the WWE stars Nikki and Brie Bella's podcast, The Nikki & Brie Show, where she disclosed that her realisation about her dad being a celebrity came from her embarrassing school drop-offs.

She stated, "I remember the only time I really realized, like, okay, this is different, because my dad would drop us off at school in a Hummer that had no windows, no doors, and no [sun] roof. And I was mortified."

Katherine also disclosed, "He'd pull up to the carpool, and I would say, ' Can you please drop me off down the street? Please. I'm so embarrassed. Can we please just take the minivan? Like, this is not my vibe."

Later, another realization made her realize how different it is to be the daughter of a celebrity of that stature.

She described, "And then, as I got older, the boys in my grade became much more interested in my dad. That was the time when I was like, 'Okay, this is different for me.'"

But while Katherine once struggled with the spotlight that came with being Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter, it turns out some of her father’s habits stuck with her more than she expected.

Years later, as a mother herself, Katherine is beginning to notice a familiar parenting style creeping in, one that she says comes straight from her father's rulebook.

The children's book author and mom of three, 35, appeared on the Cat and Nat Unfiltered podcast and said she has been instructing her two older kids, daughters Lyla Marie, 5, and Eloise Christina, 3, on how to do their own chores.

Katherine highlighted how her approach towards her kids stems from how Arnold raised her. She said, "I guess we’re more traditional with the chores and also the implementation of the chores and the strictness of the chores. And this is like, probably a little bit of my father coming out, but my dad had no patience or excuses for not doing your chores."

And judging by her own words, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s disciplined approach to parenting may be living on through the next generation of the Schwarzenegger family.
