Arnold Schwarzenegger's son, Christopher Schwarzenegger, has weight loss as the focus of new family photos. His sister, Katherine Schwarzenegger, shared the images following a weekend wedding.

On May 27, Katherine posted a photo montage of herself with her husband, Pratt, and other members of the Schwarzenegger-Shriver family, including Patrick Schwarzenegger.

In that photo, Christopher looked dapper in a suit.

The family appeared to be attending a wedding over the weekend, where Katherine wrote, “And this is how you do a 3-day weekend.”

In one photo, Christopher looked slim in a black suit, posing with his siblings and mother, and in another photo, he was smiling next to his brother-in-law.

The 28-year-old son of the 7-time Mr. Olympia achieved this slim physique through years of hard work.

During the May 2025 Beacher Vitality Happy & Healthy Summit in Los Angeles, he opened up about the struggles he faced due to his heavy weight.

During his time at the University of Michigan, he faced a situation that helped him change. He said, “I just saw how much my weight was prohibiting me from doing everyday activities.

I was like, I want to go skydiving. And my friends were like, Yeah, no shot. I was like, Yeah, I can’t skydive.”

In 2019, Christopher started his weight-loss journey with the hope of shedding extra fat by the time of his college graduation.

However, the result did not come overnight. He added, “I tried everything. Even still to this day, when you’re saying, oh, before-and-after photos. I don’t feel like I’m an ‘after’ yet”.

Since then, Christopher has been consistent in his routine. Even on his 24th birthday, the Austrian Oak joked about Christopher’s busy schedule by messaging, “Between your boxing classes, your weightlifting classes, your stretching classes, your cycling classes, and on and on, I can’t even keep up with you!”

While Christopher looked stunning in the recent post shared by Katherine, fans began showing their love for the family.

While one fan wrote, “So much love in one photo”, another praised the family time by saying, “Entire family looking great”.

One fan commented, “such a handsome man,” and another said, “yesss so fun👏 beautiful pics!!”

Although Arnold was not present in the photos, he played a very significant role in Christopher’s transformation.

Last year, when The Times asked Arnold whether it was difficult for him to be a parent to someone struggling with weight, the bodybuilding legend said, “You're telling me. I could never go and say to him, you're overweight. We just kept introducing healthy foods.

We introduced him always to the gym and all of that kind of stuff. And then, out of nowhere, he decided that he wanted to be lean. And now he is. So that is, of course, fantastic, the self-discipline and the self-motivation. I always felt one day it will have to come from him — and it did.”
