Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son Joe Baena hints at improvement after bodybuilding wins- “Time to grow”

Decades after Arnold Schwarzenegger stepped down from the stage, his son is now at the center of the golden era Classic Physique movement. And Joe Baena is already redefining its boundaries.
Only weeks after grabbing his second bodybuilding title, Joe Baena is hinting at a physique upgrade that is sure to propel him to the top of his competition.
After winning the California title of the INBA Iron Gladiator Classic Physique, the athlete posted iconic celebratory pictures of himself with a sword. Baena shared the pictures, which were shot by Frank Fastner, on Instagram.
"Improvement season is upon us! Time to grow 💪", he captioned it.
The photos show a focus on classic aesthetic physique, bringing back the nostalgic, romantic era that Schwarzenegger and Lee Haney defined.
It seems that Baena is not willing to simply take a breather, even during his off-season. Instead, the bodybuilder is already hitting the gym, potentially conditioning his physique for the upcoming Natural Olympia in November this year.
The 28-year-old has already proven his ability to dominate global bodybuilding stages. Following up on his debut win in the NPC Natural Colorado State, winning first-place in multiple categories, Baena added a second win to his resume within weeks.
Although Baena has been training seriously since 2018, with Arnold as his workout partner, he began competing in championships only recently. And it's not just his bodybuilding blueprint that Baena has borrowed from his father, but the entire encyclopedia.
Joe Baena spills his training BTS with GQ
Joseph Baena is commanding not only bodybuilding stages, but also celebrity interviews. In a recent interview with GQ, the 28-year-old revealed his father's influence behind his passion for bodybuilding.
"[My dad is] the best training partner. I don't know what to say. He pushes me. He makes sure that I don't slack off in the gym. When the carbs are low and the calories are low and I start getting tired, he pumps me up," Baena shared with GQ.
The athlete also shared the nerve-wracking experience of posing on the stage, topped with the soaring expectations of the muscle world. Having none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger as a father amps up the pressure even further.
However, even that judgment cannot take away his love for bodybuilding, which is something you wear every day. This exact attitude helps Baena push himself and his physique to their limits, explaining his rapid rise to bodybuilding fame.
