Arnold's son Joe Baena reveals diet 2 weeks before bodybuilding debut

Joseph Baena offered a glimpse into his protein-focused diet two weeks before his anticipated bodybuilding debut.

Arnie Jr. often shares videos of himself cooking delicious, healthy meals on Instagram, but the most recent ones have been slightly more remarkable. That's because these recipes are shaping him for his bodybuilding debut.

And the latest recipe that he shared on March 19 looked as unique as its name, Dog Bowl. After weeks of eating chicken and rice, Baena finally switched to a different variety of meat two weeks before his bodybuilding debut, choosing ground beef this time.

In his caption, he credited the recipe for 'helping him stay consistent and lose almost 20 lbs of fat in eight weeks without losing muscle.' But the food wasn't the only thing he was consistent with; and just like always, he made sure to share the recipe with his followers.

Dog Bowl -

  • 96% lean ground beef
  • Onions
  • Brussels sprouts
  • White rice
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Paprika

Salad -

  • Mixed green vegetables
  • Apple cider vinegar (1 tbsp)
  • Mustard (to taste)

At the end of the video, he prepared his plate and took a few bites, and ended the video by complimenting his food with his 'So good' catchphrase.

Although his bodybuilding diet is mostly focused on chicken and rice, just days ago, he shared one recipe with a different bird, posting his Turkey Taco Bowl recipe.

Joseph Baena is continuing his father's legacy

On March 15, Schwarzenegger's youngest son shocked everyone by casually announcing his plans to follow in the footsteps of his legendary dad and enter a bodybuilding competition.

He announced it via an Instagram video with the caption, 'Stage debut loading...' In the video, Baena was seen showing off his pose game with some prominent bodybuilding poses.

Although he shared the news of his competing, he did not specify which competition he is preparing for. All that is known as of now is that the competition is two weeks away, which rules out the Arnold Classic UK, as that will be held from 27th to 29th March.
