At 63, Rich Gaspari’s Leg Workout Routine Still Inspires the Fans

At 63, Rich Gaspari remains committed to fitness and health. Through his fitness videos and bodybuilding advice shared with his thousands of Instagram followers, Gaspari continues to inspire his fans.

One of Gaspari's inspiring stories was recently shared by Johnny Buchanan on June 19 on his Instagram channel, where he joined the veteran bodybuilder for a gym session.

Buchanan, the American football player, captioned the clip of their leg session with “hardcore leg day with 63-year-old bodybuilding legend, Rich Gaspari.”

And there is no doubt that the session was intense because during the session, both of them were seen grinding through intense pain, yet they still pushed to finish the reps.

Interestingly, Gaspari was more adept at age 63 than Buchanan. Even Gaspari was seen saying,

“Nobody can beat me in legs.”

In the video, the duo was seen doing:

  • Hack squats
  • Leg extension.

During his bodybuilding days, Gaspari’s legs were legendary for their intense conditioning, deep separation, and grainy muscle striation.

Famous for winning the 1st Arnold Classic competition, Gaspari trains his legs using old-school methods that include exercises like:

  • Hack squats
  • Close stance squats
  • Leg extension
  • 45- degree leg press
  • Walking lunges
  • Seated leg curls.

Apart from that, Gasparo often seems to use equipment like:

  • Leg Extension Machine
  • Pendulum Squat
  • Leg Press Machine
  • Reverse Hyperextension Machine.

So, when 63-year-old Gaspari showed intense power for his leg workouts, fans reacted immediately.
