Bodybuilder Posed to Worship Music at Arnold UK Stage

At the 2026 Arnold Classic UK stage, where powerful beats and energetic routines took center stage, one bodybuilder quietly defied the norm with a surprising choice of music that no one saw coming.

According to a March 28 Instagram post of The Truth Wire, “BODYBUILDER AND POPULAR INFLUENCER POSED TO CHRISTIAN WORSHIP MUSIC AT THE ARNOLD CLASSIC UK.”

The bodybuilder in question is known as Blessing "The Boogeyman" Awodibu.

He has emerged as a promising men's open competitor in recent years. This year, in Birmingham, UK, he secured 5th place in the men's open division behind Andrew Jacked, Brandon Cury, Patrick Moore, and Martin Fitzwater.

While the choice of song has received a lot of attention, the bodybuilder himself revealed the truth behind the music selection in a March 29 Instagram post.

He said, “Why that song? Man, 2023, 2024, (3:23) 2025, I went through some serious mental problems. And I'm grateful that I found God, man. And one of my go-to is worship music.”

He added, “And Grace to Grace by Ilsan Worship has been one of my favorite go-to songs every morning. I can listen to that song literally my whole hour on the treadmill. That song helped me, you know, to get closer to God, to get closer to myself, to know myself better, to understand my purpose and to understand that, you know, life is not always gonna be sunshine and rainbows.”

The Nigerian bodybuilder first gained attention in 2021 at the IFBB Pro Men’s Open competition, where The Boogeyman surprised everyone with his overall build and mass.

While he impressed everyone with his choice of stage music, he also talked about what motivates him to perform.

Apart from that, The Boogeyman also discussed his experience of participating in the Arnold Classic UK for the first time.

Blessing "The Boogeyman" Awodibu’s Experience at Arnold Classic UK

In the same Instagram post from March 29, the bodybuilder shared his experience of participating in one of the biggest bodybuilding competitions.

Holding the medal of the event, he said excitedly, “Dude…. this thing right here is heavy, very heavy.”

He further added, “and yes, to be able to be on that stage, pose in Arnold, sitting right in front of you. I mean, you guys can see, actually, at the pre-judging, I lost balance.

My first glance at Arnold, it was smiling at me. And it was real hard to stay calm.”

He later composed himself on stage and performed in front of The Austrian Oak.

Though he did achieve fifth place, his positivity was still evident when he said, “Coming into the show, one of my main goal was to present something that the fans will appreciate that the judges will see that, okay, Boogey is working. and something they can look at and be proud of.”

“And trust me, every footage, even though they're still not perfect, still not there yet honestly, I am super pumped with my progress.”
