F1 movie’s trainer and physiotherapist explains Brad Pitt's workout tale

Speaking to Men’s Health, F1 movie trainer Barry Sigrist detailed how he trained Brad Pitt to portray an F1 racer. To Sigrist’s surprise, the 61-year-old powered through every workout with ease, “He sticks to what he knows because he’s been doing it successfully for a long time.

He further added, “I think when there’s someone who experienced and that high profile, everyone’s trying to get a piece of them and trying to create reliance. My strategy is very different. He’s 61 years old now. He’s been doing it for decades. It’s like, ‘You’re doing well. I’m here to help. What can I offer?”

Brad Pitt is no stranger to pushing his physique to its limits. Take his cult classic Fight Club, for example, Pitt was 35 years old at the time and maintained a famously chiseled, razor-lean build for the role.

According to reports, he weighed around 70 kilos with an estimated 6% body-fat, a key part of the film’s iconic aesthetic.
