Braun Strowman, often dubbed as the 'Monster among Men', is one of the strongest wrestlers to have ever stepped inside the ring. However, without WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry, Strowman might have never even grappled.

The two legends recently joined on the June 5 episode of Everything on the Menu, travelling and ordering dishes from across the cosmopolitan metropolis of Austin, Texas. Host Strowman expressed gratitude for sharing a meal with one of the most influential figures in his career.

"It was such a special opportunity to host Mark," the retired WWE star shared on a clip shared by Reality of Wrestling on YouTube.

"There's no Braun Strowman, there's no 'Everything on the Menu'. That's the man that found me, put his name on the line, vouched, got me into the WWE, held my hand for so many years, and has become such a pillar, hero, father figure in my life, friend, confidant, brother, all that stuff," he continued.

Henry has scouted for and recruited many bedazzled names in the WWE circuit, including Adam Scherr, popularly known as Strowman.

The two first met when Scherr was still competing in Strongman, with Henry approaching the athlete in the 2012 World's Strongest Man. While Strowman admitted to being a "huge fan" of the pro-wrestler, it did take him a while to jump on the bandwagon.

Better late than never, the strongman-turned-WWE star became a fan favorite inside the ring. So when WWE released Strowman from the roster, Henry was the first to call out the promotion.

Mark Henry Criticised Braun Strowman's WWE Removal

Speaking on the Busted Open Radio, Mark Henry revealed that he wasn't on the same page with WWE when it came to the removal of only one fighter from the roster: Braun Strowman.

Given how well he was performing, especially his fights against Jacob Fatu and Bronson Reed, the decision seemed to come out of the blue. Henry explained the reason behind the removal, saying:

"Everybody that he tagged with, everything that he did, but you know what man, it’s not always about your talent or your performance. Sometimes your mouth, or sometimes you get in your own way, which I called and asked somebody, and I’m like, ‘Man why him? He was doing good.’ And he was like, ‘Man, sometimes you know, people can be abrasive.'"

Sure enough, conflict regarding his massive deal and the company's budget cuts is attributed as the real adversary behind the move.

Whatever it may be, it is clear that Braun Strowman left an unforgettable dent in the industry, and Mark Henry was the catalyst behind it.
