Brian Shaw Spilled the Beans on His Massive Diet in Front of Jay Cutler

Brian Shaw's strongman career ended with a win in 2023 when, in the Shaw Classic, he earned the first position.

However, in 2024, he earned his first title in the professional arm wrestling competition by defeating Eddie Hall. And we can not deny that without an intense diet, it is hard to maintain that size.

Brian Shaw, the 6’8” strongman with 340–454 lb weight and 4 times World's Strongest Man winner, is no exception to that.

In the “Cutler Cast Podcast,” Brian Shaw has been seen admitting to Jay Cutler that he eats “a lot”. Cutler asked Shaw, “I gotta hear what you eat”. In response, Shaw said, “It's a lot”.

Then the 4-time Mr. Olympia title holder asked Shaw about his number of meals a day. In response, Shaw said he eats “Like, six or seven”, meals a day.

He continued by saying, “Literally eating is a job. Eight ounces of bison between six and eight eggs. Rice would be like, two cups. Sometimes we put in like some spinach. I would get waffles, and then I would also get fruit, typically. So that would be one meal”.

Yes, you heard it right. It is his one meal.

Some points to highlight Brian Shaw’s six-day meal

On 19 th March, 2025, “BarBend” shared an article featuring Shaw’s six-meal routine.

  • 3rd meal: According to the article, meal 3 is all about 1 pound of bison, 4 oz of tomato sauce, and 3 servings of pasta.
  • 4th meal: In meal 4, Shaw eats 2 cups of rice, 1 pound of bison, a lot of green beans, and some BBQ sauce.
  • 5th meal: Meal 5 is again filled with 8 oz bison, chicken meatballs, salads, 12 raviolis, and 24 ounce Coca-Colas. And in meal 6, he eats 20 oz milk with 5 scoops of mass gainer.

So, are you planning to be a strongman? Then you have to get ready with an intense, high-protein diet plan.
