Rick Springfield's recent appearance on D*** Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve rocked fans, but apart from his on-stage performance, his fit physique at 76 also garnered a lot of attention.
Springfield performed his classic hit “Jessie’s Girl” during the aforementioned performance. His care for his diet plays a significant role in keeping the 76-year-old in a condition that allows him to still rock crowds.
Men's Health's visit to Springfield's residence for a “Gym & Fridge” episode on November 6, 2025, revealed a lot about the diet that keeps him going.

Although his fridge was filled with veggies, milk, and other food, he chose brown rice as his preferred dish. He simply replied, “Brown rice is a great life food.” The 76-year-old also said that he has been eating brown rice since his bachelor's life.
One of his staples is artichokes, and he also loves vegetables. His fridge also contained eggs, coconut, and dairy-free yogurt. His wife, Barbara Porter's prepared protein smoothie forms a major part of his regular diet. Here's a summary of what he eats in a day:
