“Can You Lift Trump?” Host Puts Mr. Olympia Samson Dauda on Spot
2024 Mr. Olympia Samson Dauda has lifted hundreds of pounds in training sessions, and hence lifting an average human mat may not be a big deal for him, but what if that human is POTUS Donald Trump?
Dauda's appearance on the March 20 episode of the One54 Africa podcast subjected him to an unusual strength-testing question by the show's host, and noted comedian, Godfrey. He challenged Dauda with a rapid-fire list of objects, from household appliances to heavier items like a washer, dryer, and even a pickup truck.
Initially, Dauda responded to each challenge with confidence. However, the segment took a humorous turn when Godfrey questioned, “Can you lift Trump?” The 2024 Mr. Olympia couldn't resist bursting out laughing at this weird strength-testing question.

What followed was Godfrey presenting a hilarious imitation of Trump, assuming what the POTUS would've said at the moment. He said, "Oh, come on, Samson. Pick me up. Look at him. He can't do me. I'm 485 pounds. I can't believe it. You're so powerful. Look at him, so powerful. He's big. He's a big guy."
Well, while the question faded out without an answer from Dauda following the hilarious juncture, it isn't difficult to assume the right answer.
In the same episode, the 40-year-old revealed that the highest weight he had bench pressed was around 405 lbs, while The American Presidency Project states that Trump weighed 224 lbs, as per his latest health checkup on April 13, 2025. So, it can be safely said that Dauda has enough power to lift the reigning US President.
And with such massive arms in this offseason, it certainly doesn’t look like Samson Dauda is going to struggle to lift anything anytime soon.
Samson Dauda Reveals Staggering Bicep Measurement While Chasing 350-Pound Offseason Goal
Samson Dauda’s offseason is already making headlines, and the stats prove it. During his appearance on the One54 Africa podcast, the former Mr. Olympia revealed his arms currently measure an astonishing 24 inches.
“Just because last time I measured, it was 24 inches,” Dauda casually revealed, which earned him a place among the physically largest athletes competing in the Men’s Open bodybuilding division.
Dauda has been making it clear he’s out to achieve even more this offseason. He is on a mission to get even larger, with his sights set on hitting 350 pounds or more.
Reflecting on his approach to getting even larger, Dauda revealed, “Literally every offseason, I’ve kept a cap on how much I want my weight to climb. This is the first time where I’m like ‘f*** it, let’s go for broke.’”
The Nigerian native's rise has been steady since turning pro in 2018, with standout performances leading to a breakthrough runner-up finish at the 2023 Arnold Classic. Despite a surprising drop to fourth at Olympia, his current transformation signals one thing clearly: he is far from done.
So, while it's confirmed that he has enough to lift Trump, which other trophies do you think he will win this year?
