The NFL maestro, Tom Brady, just reminded the world that age is just a number, with a fitness-heavy Instagram clip that even caught former UFC heavyweight champ Jon Jones off guard.

A couple of days ago, the former New England Patriots quarterback shared his fitness regimen via an Instagram post. The snaps showed that Brady's training sessions include activities like boxing, weightlifting, and practicing golf swings. Its caption read, "Keep ‘em guessing! (But at 48 we’re feeling more [drained] after the workout)"

Among the thousands who appreciated Brady's dedication to fitness was Jones. Jonny 'Bones' took to the comments section of Brady's post and penned, "It’s good to see [,] champ."

However, Jones was far from being the only combat sports athlete who found Brady's workout regimen impressive. The GLORY Kickboxing heavyweight champion, Rico Verhoeven, asked him to add a combat sports-based workout to his routine and also volunteered to help him with it. He stated, "Let’s try some kicks."

The legendary quarterback ended his career as one of the most prolific players in NFL history, recording 89,214 passing yards and a massive 649 touchdowns.

Beyond his seven championship rings, Brady also holds five Super Bowl MVP awards and was selected to the Pro Bowl a record 15 times during his 23-season career. In his late 40s now, he is looking as if he could play some more games, but what is his secret? Well, let’s have a look.

Tom Brady Gives Retirement Workout Tips

Brady switched to color commentary after hanging up his football boots. However, one of his September 2024 Instagram posts displayed that he hasn't given up training.

The 48-year-old mentioned, "Color analysts have to stay in shape too." His caption also disclosed his post-retirement workout routine.

The NFL star mentioned, "Added some swimming into the workout routine this year… great muscle resistance and some aerobic cardio all at once. This morning's circuit below.

  • 2x200 free
