Chappell Roan's Workout Routine and Diet To Remain Healthy and Camera-Ready

Chappell Roan had a busy 2025. She won Best New Artist at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards in February 2025. Stage perfromances and launching a major U.S. tour kept her on her toes all year.
However, behind that energy is a disciplined routine of high-intensity workouts and a specific diet. So here's how the pop star stays camera-ready for her demanding performances.
Chappell Roan’s Training and Diet Plan
This month is going to be eventful for Chappell Roan, as she is headlining the Laneway Festival across Australia and New Zealand. For that, she follows a dedicated training program which includes:
- Burpees
- Jump squats
- Jump ropes
- High knees
A cross-country runner in high school, it's safe to say Chappell Roan already had the experience. However, singing while running and dancing on massive stages was something she specifically needed to train for.
In a 2024 TikTok, Roan explained that she did two months of “very hard... cardio vocal training,” to be able to run and sing on stage. Chappell Roan has kept that up.
To build stamina for stage performances, she holds treadmill singing sessions. which are exactly what they sound like. Her dance rehearsals also act as cardio training.
"I literally don't feel like I'm going to throw up anymore when I sing or run," the performer told Women's Health in 2024.
Keeping the fitness spirits high, she even designed her Lollapalooza set in a fitness theme with a boxing ring where she punched dummies.
Her diet has two main aspects. Although she doesn't follow a particularly strict diet, she ensures having enough carbohydrates for energy. Besides that, legumes, whole grains, starchy vegetables, and fruits are a part of her daily meals.
She also eats a substantial high-protein meal, 3-4 hours before her performance, to aid muscle recovery and tissue repair after each electrifying performance.
