Chinese Man Sets World Record for the Heaviest Tire Flip of 1384.50 Pounds, Internet Reacts

One flip. 1384.50 pounds. The internet still can’t believe that an actual person pulled off this superhuman feat. Xiao Yang, a 24-year-old Chinese strongman set a new Guinness World Record for the heaviest tire flip, and the internet can’t get enough of him.

His video went viral shortly after being posted on the Guinness World Records official Instagram page. Fans can see him initially struggling to get a good grip on the massive tire.

However, once he has built up the power and momentum, he quickly and gracefully flips it, making it look like a piece of cake. Of course, netizens are acutely aware of the immense strength and training required to actually pull off the task.

This colossal feat was a part of an official challenge held on November 9, 2025, in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. Yang has been competing in international strongman events for the last few years, however, he is officially the first person to register and complete the 'heaviest tire flip (male)' in the world.

Audiences from across the globe were quick to comment on his enormous feat, some saying, “This is amazing,” while others shared appreciative GIFs and emojis.

Some audiences, however, were slightly sceptical, wondering whether the video was real or not.

Fans left speechless after the heaviest tire flip challenge, internet divided

The internet has always been a confusing place, and audiences have proved this yet again with their reactions to the viral video. The majority of viewers have been left speechless by the feat, calling him “impressive” and appreciating his superhuman strength.

“Now that’s a record,” one viewer said, and we truly agree.

Yang is the first person in the world to successfully execute this challenge, and people are left wondering what kind of training he must have gone through to be able to complete it. Another viewer commented on how impressive the feat was, considering “how light the flipper is.”

Yang, weighing in at 231 lbs, flipped a tire that was six times his own body weight, putting immense strain on his body. Fortunately, he trained well for this exact moment and was able to execute it with perfection.

Another viewer showed concern for him, commenting, ”I hope he got his bones checked after this. That's a lot of force on that body mass”.

With one tire flip challenge, Yang has now created a new world record, turning his achievement into a global talking point.

Do you think anyone will be able to beat his record?
