What is the craziest thing that you done to meet your favorite celebrity? Nothing can be as crazy as what Chris Dranias did.

Fitness entrepreneur Chris Dranias took to Instagram recently to share a personal anecdote about the moment that defined his career: seeing Ronnie Coleman on the cover of Flex magazine in 1998. He explained his fascination in the caption:

"I was blown away by the size, the strength, the presence. I remember thinking....imagine being that big, that powerful."

The fleeting visual of Coleman's physique was enough to ignite a spark in 15-year-old Dranias to one day stand next to his idol. And six years later, in 2005, he realized this dream by bringing Ronnie Coleman to South Africa.

But bringing a bodybuilding legend isn't an easy task, especially for a 21-year-old, but Dranius was determined and even sold his car to bring Ronnie Coleman to Africa. His appearance was not intended to be a celebrity appearance, but an opportunity for education and inspiration.

"The goal was bigger than me. Bring the best bodybuilder in the world to SA. Let him teach. Let him guest pose. Let him inspire people through seminars across the country."

Little did Dranias know that the visit would become a lesson in business, collaboration, and would serve as a motivation to always dream big.

Chris Dranius' simple plan for fitness

According to fitness trainer Chris Draius, you don't need elaborate workout regimens or a diet plan to stay fit. No detox teas or heavy workouts need to be a part of your daily routine. Simply follow these simple steps, and watch yourself transform into the best version of yourself.

  • Control your calories. Overindulgence is never a good idea; moderation is always the key to a fit life.
  • Whatever workout routine you decide on, follow it at least 3 times a week
  • Besides your workout, remember to walk every day
  • Prioritize your sleep. A proper rest will strengthen your body and aid in muscle recovery.
  • Do not look for quick results; a successful workout session is all about maintaining long-term health and sustainability. So, if you don't see immediate results, don't panic; the workout is doing its job.
