Claudia Oshry Made a Change in Her Health Habits, a 70 Lbs Transformation in a Year

Claudia Oshry is restarting her weight loss journey to keep up with the demands of motherhood. The comedian recently shared her decision to return to GLP-1 medications after pausing for her pregnancy and breastfeeding.

The influencer and comedian lost 70 lbs with the help of O******. However, she stopped taking the medicine while pregnant and while breastfeeding her son, who was born on May 25, 2025. Now, the mom of a son has decided to go back to the same road with a goal.

Oshry revealed that during her interview with Newbeauty.com, “It’s like riding a bike. You never forget how it feels to feel good. I’m kind of obsessed with feeling good, especially now that my days are longer with work and being a mom. I don’t want to get into bed every night feeling so tired.”

“I still want time to go out to dinner and read a book, and not feel so foggy. So, I'm back on the GLP-1.”

According to HELLO!, the influencer refers to the medicine as a “tool” that helped her take control of her health and stay consistent with her workout routine. It was not a sudden decision to return to meds, but rather a plan to get back to it, as this would assist in being a present first-time parent.

Not only that, “girlwithnojob” had posted a video on her Instagram on April 25, captioning “I’m Turdy, and I approve this message.” She announced her partnership with Dulcolax. In the post, she promoted Dulcolax's Daily Gut Support Gummies.

These gummies help with gut cleansing, which ultimately leads to feeling good and looking good. She said, “Gut health is gut wealth.”

According to nutritionist GQ Jordan, people who suddenly stop taking weight-loss medication start gaining weight again. So, how did Oshry maintain her weight?

How Claudia Oshry maintained weight after dropping medicines

According to Healthline, Claudia Oshry maintained a healthy balance of lifestyle changes and diet to sustain her transformation after stopping the O******.

Registered dietitian Alyssa Wilson said, “A good support system, like Oshry’s, is essential to keep you on track.”

Both Jordan and Alyssa highlighted that eating a high-protein diet and regular exercise are the two key factors that help Oshry maintain her weight.

A protein-rich meal helps maintain satiety and muscle mass, which supports weight management. Jordan points out that protein-dense foods keep the stomach full for longer, helping reduce calorie intake and support weight loss.

Regular physical activity, along with weight-bearing exercise, supports bone health and improves overall health.

This combination of healthy eating and regular exercise helps her maintain her weight after discontinuing the GLP-1 medications.
