After a grueling match at WrestleMania 42 on April 19, American wrestler CM Punk was once again seen at Dragon's Lair Gym in Las Vegas, working out intensely. 

On May 5, Punk trainer Jay Ferruggia shared a post on his Instagram, captioning “When @cmpunk gave me a hug at ringside after his 5-star classic WrestleMania main event… He thanked me and said… “I’ll see ya in the gym tomorrow morning.”

In the post, Ferruggia further wrote, “I wasn’t sure if it was the adrenaline talking or not. He just had a hell of a battle and went through two tables. So I wouldn’t be surprised if he wanted to take a day off.”

But the next day, Punk entered the facility and asked the trainer what time he wanted to train. So they both smashed a pull day together. They seem to be doing exercises such as:

• Chest-supported plate-loaded row
• Machine preacher curl (plate loaded)
• Single-arm machine shoulder press (plate loaded)

The post was a carousel of photos, including photos of Punk hugging the trainer Ferruggia after the April 19th match. 

It's not the first time Ferruggia has shared the training videos of the 47-year-old wrestler. 

On April 29, the trainer shared a carousel of photos and videos showing Punk and pro wrestler Bayley training together before WrestleMania 42.

In the post, they were seen doing movements such as:

• Machine rear delta fly 
• Machine preacher curl
• Inclined chest press (plate-loaded)
• Dumbbell lateral raises
• Standing dumbbell bicep curls
• Cable triceps pushdown
• Air bike
• Single-hand machine shoulder press

The actor and wrestler follows a high-intensity training regimen to prepare himself for the ring and face opponents.

Now, he will be seen in summer at Intuit Dome, Inglewood, California, for a mega-star collision.

CM Punk’s first WWE Raw event in 2026 

According to the official WWE website, WWE Monday Night Raw will take place at the Intuit Dome in California on July 27.

The event will feature several stars, including:

• Roman Reigns
• Seth Rollins
• CM Punk
• Stephanie Vaquer
• Oba Femi
• Liv Morgan

WWE officially stated the news on its website as “For the first time in 2026, WWE’s flagship program Raw will be headed to Inglewood’s Intuit Dome. World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and more will compete.”

The California crowd will experience a high-intensity match, with stars like Punk, Rollins, and Reigns on the roster. 

It will be interesting to see who wins the match and takes the championship belt home.
