An 83-year-old US Army veteran is challenging what it means to age. A viral video showed Charles Mammay discussing an incredible feat of strength from his 82nd birthday. He performed 105 non-stop pushups, stunning viewers online.

Speaking about it back in November, Mammay said, "On my 82nd birthday this year, I did 105 push-ups non-stop. And then I went to the gym and did 100 pull-ups."

His daily workout regimen is notable for its high number of repetitions.

His mornings start with 150 to 200 push-ups and 800 crunches. He then goes to the Oklahoma Rec Center to do 100 to 150 pull-ups, along with some upper body machines, like the pec deck, to build strong biceps and triceps.

The older competitor even appeared on the reality TV game show American Ninja Warrior twice at ages 72 and 73, the oldest competitor at the time. In an interview, the fitness influencer revealed he completed 300 pull-ups in 38 minutes, a feat that took him an hour three years ago.

Even after suffering from arthritis, multiple operations, cardioversions, and an ablation, his only advice to the younger generation is to 'keep moving.'

Internet reacts to Charles Mammay's fitness levels at 83

The viral clip drew widespread admiration for Mammay's dedication. Comments like "beast," "amazing," and "amazing individual" were seen all over the comments section.

One user commented, "He is a beast and very dedicated. He's helping so many people at the gym learning to do pullups!"

Another user had a request he wanted Charles to fulfill, "That’s amazing! I would like to see him do them 100 press-ups and pull-ups nonstop, though, as I really can’t imagine that to be true…"

Even @evrydayclub couldn't stop themselves from writing this cheeky comment, "Chuck might be giving @markwahlberg a run for his money!"

Comments like, "He is in the medical field and knows the best medicine is prevention," credited his medical background as the reason for his fitness. Comments saying, "Chuck Norris's dad has been located" were also seen.
