80-Year-Old Frank Noble shows off his go-to punch bag workout

At 80, fitness influencer Frank Noble is still proving that fitness has no expiration date. His workout videos on social media have gained immense traction, with people making him a source of inspiration across generations.

Noble recently posted an Instagram video with over 1000 likes of himself engaging in a wall-mounted punching bag workout. His speed, agility, and commitment to training are nothing short of awe-inspiring. In the video, he is performing intense, fast punches that are packing a lot of strength. His footwork is also impressive, showing how he is entirely dedicated to the workout.

The Instagram video is captioned, “How I stay fit at 80. The WALL-MOUNTED punch bag. #boxing #boxing training.”

The wall-mounted punch bag is an incredible workout for Noble at his age, helping him develop cardiovascular fitness and upper-body strength. Furthermore, it also enhances coordination and improves reflexes, balance, and mobility without lifting weights.

However, it should be noted that Noble’s fitness and longevity are also complemented by his simple dietary lifestyle habits.

The family legacy that shaped his fitness philosophy

Noble came from a family of boxers who ingrained in him the discipline and consistency needed for the sport.

During an interview with Ricardo Vasquez on the Youthful Aging Secrets Podcast on November 11, 2024, Noble revealed how he got into this world.

“When I was a kid growing up, there were virtually no processed foods, no packaging. There was never any packaging. Everything was wrapped in a piece of brown paper,” he said.

Furthermore, he revealed how his father ran multiple boxing clubs when Noble was a child. His two older brothers went to the boxing club, and before he knew it, Noble was going to the same club. At just the age of 4, Noble had already seen more of the boxing world than most others.

“When I was about four years of age, I would go along too, just to be part of it, and so, soaking up all this kind of atmosphere, the sweatiness and the smells and you know the sounds of a boxing club. It kind of got ingrained into me, and so that's how it all started.”

Furthermore, he shared how much he learned from his father. He often listened intently to his father talking about old fighters and other boxers who came to the club. This made boxing an integral part of his childhood growing up.

Almost 8 decades later, Noble is still deeply ingrained in the world of boxing. And, it doesn’t look like he has any plans of slowing down.
