Elizabeth Hurley has a simple secret to her age-defying looks, and it isn't expensive supplements or green juices. The actress recently revealed her morning ritual on Instagram. She swears by drinking two mugs of warm water first thing every day.

On April 1, Hurley shared a post on her Instagram, revealing her secret in the caption: “I don’t personally guzzle weird green juices or take a load of supplements.

but I’ve drunk two mugs of warm water first thing every morning for as long as I remember, and I swear by it ♥️ (and it’s free 😉).”

Apart from that, on a March 8 post, her fans see another instance of how she defeated age. On the Instagram post, Hurley was seen wearing the same dress that she wore back in 1999.

She captioned the post: “Viva Versace! For this weekend’s adventure in India, I dug into my archives and unearthed one of my favourite pieces, which I last wore to the Met Gala in 1999 😳 27 years may have passed, but some loves never fade.”

Elizabeth Hurley’s Diet Philosophy

To stay fit, the actress follows a specific dietary philosophy, in addition to drinking water. According to Women’s Health, she said: “My mantra is: don’t eat too much, too fast, too often or too late.”

The Inheritance actress explained her approach differently. She said, “Eat smaller meals, chew properly, ban snacking, and eat dinner earlier.”

This philosophy works for her, and she said, “I don’t drink weird green juices or shakes and only take supplements if a blood test tells me I’m lacking something. I try to have vegetables or fruit equal to half of every plate I eat. For example, if I have a sandwich, I also eat an apple.”

Although she eats everything, she occasionally treats herself to junk food. Hurley’s definition of junk is “I count junk food as anything that contains any ingredient that I don’t have in my own kitchen,” which includes:

  • Diet
  • Low-fat items
  • Readymade food items
  • Sandwiches 
  • Cakes
  • Sodas
  • Biscuits

Liz enjoys baking bread and cakes at home, which is why she bought a bread maker. She bakes a loaf each day and makes cakes every weekend.

Elizabeth Hurley’s No-gym Fitness Approach

According to Good Housekeeping, Hurley said, “I can’t remember when I last went to a gym.” She further revealed, “I don’t like that sort of exercise.

But when I’m in the country, I’m very active outside, plus I spend my life running up the stairs carrying things. Cleaning the skirting boards, you can burn a lot of calories. There are things we can do that aren’t yawn, yawn, going to the gym.”
