Emanuele Ricotti Signs With New Bodybuilding Coach With Calum Raistrick

Emanuele Ricotti, the Italian classic physique star, recently announced a shift in his training approach.

On June 10, BTS TV's Instagram account shared an update: "Ricotti signs with new coach Calum Raistrick."

The caption of the post provided more context to the update by adding, “@lelerico_ifbbpro, who has 26 PRO shows to his name and 3 wins, has made the change from Stefan to Calum.”

Prior to this, Ricotti’s coach was Stefan Kienzl, who also guided well-known bodybuilders such as Wesley Vissers, Martin Fitzwater, Urs Kalecinski, William Bonac, and Brett Wilkin.

On the contrary, according to the post, Ricotti's new coach, Calum, “has world No. 5 in Classic Physique @onepunchnaz, will now take the reins, as @lelerico_ifbbpro said on his YouTube, “he needed to find his physique again.”

Raistrick is the co-founder of the ProIQ education platform and the head of Team Pro Coach, widely known as one of the top contest-prep minds in bodybuilding.

Some bodybuilders who were trained by Ricotti's new coach include Niall Darwin, Marc Hector and Sarah Fechter.

According to Ricotti, he needs to regain his physique and wants to move away from intense, restrictive, old-school coaching styles. He aims to adopt a more balanced approach to longevity.

In 2025, Ricotti competed in 8 professional shows, including Olympia, taking:

  • 1 × 1st
  • 2 × 2nd
  • 2 × 3rd
  • 2 × 4th.

According to the post, “This year has not gone to plan, taking 5th in Poland and finishing outside the top 15 in Pittsburgh”.

So, what does Ricotti's current training split look like?
